Michael Bednarek, Jr.

Michael Bednarek, Jr. is a an associate attorney who recently served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Civil Division of the D.C. Superior Court, where he drafted bench memoranda, opinions, and orders and researches complex issues. Before joining the Court, Michael worked as a litigation paralegal supporting commercial litigation matters, including class action defense, insurance coverage, product liability, and government contractor disputes in federal and state courts. He also served as a summer research assistant to a Virginia circuit court judge.

Michael graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law in 2025 and earned a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business in 2017. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
