Ms. Menist, who is Of Counsel to the Firm, represents community associations (condominiums, housing cooperatives, and homeowners’ associations), advising them on issues of: corporate governance; interpreting, drafting and enforcing governing documents and rules; employment matters; insurance; contracts and infrastructure repair and replacement; disputes between associations and other parties; compliance with District of Columbia statutes and regulations; and collection of delinquent assessments. Ms. Menist has been representing community associations since 2001.

Ms. Menist clerked for the Honorable R. Terrence Ney of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. Prior to her career in the law, Ms. Menist served in a variety of positions in university administration and was an investigator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
