Cary Devorsetz
A co-founder of the Firm, Cary Devorsetz concentrates his practice in business affairs and litigation, including matters involving employment, real estate and health care.
Mr. Devorsetz forms business entities, assists clients with their internal procedures and ensures that they are in compliance with laws that govern their operation. He also assists clients with drafting and reviewing employment agreements, employee handbooks and other personnel matters, including employee benefits and immigration issues. Mr. Devorsetz is known for his effective ability to help clients overcome the bureaucratic hurdles inherent in day-to-day life and business operation.
Moreover, Mr. Devorsetz has represented clients before numerous federal and local courts, as well as federal and local administrative agencies, including United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (formerly the Immigration & Naturalization Service), U.S. Department of State, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the District of Columbia Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration and the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs.
Prior to forming the Firm, Mr. Devorsetz practiced employment, corporate, customs and firearms law at two Washington, DC law firms.
