Usman Ahmad
Usman Ahmad, of counsel to the Firm, concentrates his practice in immigration law. He represents individual and corporate clients throughout world in U.S. immigration matters.
Mr. Ahmad has represented hundreds of individuals in employment, family and asylum based immigration cases, as well as with deportation matters. Mr. Ahmad also represents dozens of multinational corporations with respect to hiring foreign nationals for their U.S. offices. Typical corporate clients include information technology, finance, media and healthcare companies.
Mr. Ahmad received the Leadership Award from the South Asian American Club of North America, which honored his effective legal defense for South Asian immigrants during a time of intense pressure on new American communities. He has lectured at the New York Institute of Technology and has published several immigration law articles. Mr. Ahmad, who is proficient in Urdu, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hamilton College (Clinton, NY). He received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.
